Healthy Habits Global Cardio Boost Part 3

Advantages of Astragin Increase aminio acid absorption by 62% Increase vitamin absorption by 50% Increase glucose absorption by 57% Increase ATP production by 18% Decrease blood sugar level by 19% Increase insulin sensitivity by 38% Increase glycogen in muscle (24 hours after strenuous exercise) by 60% No GMO's Soy Free Gluten Free Sugar Free Great tasting Vegan friendly Safe for Diabetics Today there are over 100,000 medically published clinical studies attesting to the fact that arginine will help lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and triglycerides, improve diabetes, improve sexual function, reduce blood clots and strokes, improve congestive heart failure, improve wound healing, improve liver and kidney function, improve memory and cognitive functions, increase human growth hormone (HGH), and much more. Argine is a semi-essential amino acid that has shown promise in the prevention of arteriosclerosis (blockage of the arteries). L-arginine is pure 100% free form arginine and is the precursor for endothelium-derived nitric oxide (EDNO). Three scientist were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1998 for discovering nitric oxide’s role as a vasodilator. In a healthy endothelium (inner wall of a blood vessel), nitric oxide (NO) will keep vessels pliable and elastic, dilate (open up) blood vessels keeping blood flowing smoothly, relax blood vessels, keep platelets and white bloods cells calm and prevent them from sticking to the vessels wall, prevent oxidation, slow plaque growth, suppress arteriosclerosis and melt away plaque that already exists. Cardio Boost (Arginine) utilizes technology that maximizes absorption of nutrients through our unique patent pending processing system. Research suggests that consuming liquid nutritional products provides significantly improved absorption (80% vs 20% from tablets) Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States for men and women. You don't have to be another statistic. Make a few lifestyle changes along with adding Cardio Boost to your daily regiment. Now approved by leading medical experts, this natural breakthrough is drawing attention all over America. Why? Because of its ability to help dissolve dangerous blood clots starting in just two hours and improve your circulation without drugs or doctors! New research now reveals that a hidden culprit behind clogged arteries is often dangerous blood clots triggered by inflammation or by injury to your arterial walls—and this problem may be much worse than cholesterol and plaque alone. For example, inflammation in your blood vessels... 1. Activates clotting in your blood that uses cholesterol like brick and mortar 2. WHICH IN TURN... 3. Creates blood clots that act like rebar framework (reinforcing metal rods). The result? Blood clots can clog or block tiny veins and arteries throughout your body, causing you problems ranging from cold hands and feet to varicose veins, from cramping in your legs to vision problems, from a weak heart to high blood pressure, from lagging libido to low energy. In the worse case, your larger arteries are not just clogged, they're completely BLOCKED! And when that happens, bingo, blood flow is cut off to your heart, brain or lungs—and you could have a health catastrophe!

Healthy Habits Global Cardio Boost

Cardio Boost is the result of years of research bringing the right combination of ingredients together in order to completely address the needs of the cardiovascular system. The 1998 Nobel Prize for medicine was given to Dr. Louis Ignarro and his partners for their research on the Nitric Oxide Pathway. Nitric Oxide is created natural by your body when given the amino acid L-Arginine. This research created a frenzy of interest both in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical fields! Now, there are over 100,000 published medical studies attesting to the fact that amino acid L-Arginine will help the human body regulate every aspect of cardiovascular function. This research has led to several very effective pharmaceutical medications. The key to the formula is 5 grams of arginine. According to Dr. Ignarro's research, the human body needs this level of arginine, in combination with other ingredients found in Cardio Boost, to take Nitric Oxide levels to the point where it can Reverse the Age of the Cardiovascular System!

Stress eating helps, when they're these superfoods

Stress eating helps, when they're these superfoods. By Lindsay Funston, Health.com When work deadlines begin piling up and your social calendar is booked, the last thing you want to hear is to steer clear of the vending machine. Who has time for healthy eating? But when it comes to combating stress levels, what you eat may actually help relieve your tension. Indeed, some foods may help stabilize blood sugar or, better yet, your emotional response. Here, 12 foods to reach for when you've just about had enough.
Green leafy vegetables: It's tempting to reach for a cheeseburger when stressed, but go green at lunch instead. "Green leafy vegetables like spinach contain folate, which produces dopamine, a pleasure-inducing brain chemical, helping you keep calm," says Heather Mangieri, RDN, a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. A 2012 study in the Journal of Affective Disorders of 2,800 middle-aged and elderly people and found those who consumed the most folate had a lower risk of depression symptoms than those who took in the least. And, a 2013 study from the University of Otago found that college students tended to feel calmer, happier, and more energetic on days they ate more fruits and veggies. It can be hard to tell which came first—upbeat thoughts or healthy eating—but the researchers found that healthy eating seemed to predict a positive mood the next day. Turkey breast: You've probably heard that the tryptophan in turkey is to blame for that food coma on Thanksgiving. The amino acid, found in protein-containing foods, helps produce serotonin, "the chemical that regulates hunger and feelings of happiness and well-being," Mangieri says. On its own, tryptophan may have a calming effect. In a 2006 study published in the Journal of Psychiatry Neuroscience, men and women who were argumentative (based on personality tests) took either tryptophan supplements or a placebo for 15 days. Those who took tryptophan were perceived as more agreeable by their study partners at the end of the two weeks compared with when they didn't take it. (The study was funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.) Other foods high in tryptophan include nuts, seeds, tofu, fish, lentils, oats, beans, and eggs.
Oatmeal: If you're already a carb lover, it's likely that nothing can come between you and a doughnut when stress hits. First rule of thumb: Don't completely deny the craving. According to MIT research, carbohydrates can help the brain make serotonin, the same substance regulated by antidepressants. But instead of reaching for that sugary bear claw, go for complex carbs. "Stress can cause your blood sugar to rise, Mangieri says, "so a complex carb like oatmeal won't contribute to your already potential spike in blood glucose." Yogurt: As bizarre as it may sound, the bacteria in your gut might be contributing to stress. Research has shown that the brain signals to the gut, which is why stress can inflame gastrointestinal symptoms; communication may flow the other way too, from gut to brain. A 2013 UCLA study among 36 healthy women revealed that consuming probiotics in yogurt reduced brain activity in areas that handle emotion, including stress compared to people who consumed yogurt without probiotics or no yogurt at all. This study was small so more research is needed to confirm the results—but considering yogurt is full of calcium and protein in addition to probiotics, you really can't go wrong by adding more of it to your diet.
Salmon: When you're stressed, it can ratchet up anxiety hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol. "The omega-3 fatty acids in salmon haveanti-inflammatory properties that may help counteract the negative effects of stress hormones," says Lisa Cimperman, RD, of the University Hospitals Case Medical Center and a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In a study funded by the National Institutes of Health, Oregon State University medical students who took omega-3 supplements had a 20% reduction in anxiety compared to the group given placebo pills. One 3-ounce serving of cooked wild salmon can have more than 2,000 milligrams of omega-3s, double the daily intake recommended by the American Heart Association for people with heart disease.
Blueberries: "When you're stressed, there's a battle being fought inside you," Mangieri says. "The antioxidants and phytonutrients found in berries fight in your defense, helping improve your body's response to stress and fight stress-related free radicals." Research has also shown that blueberry eaters experience a boost in natural killer cells, "a type of white blood cell that plays a vital role in immunity, critical for countering stress," says Cynthia Sass, MPH, RD, Health's contributing nutrition editor. Pistachios: When you have an ongoing loop of negative thoughts playing in your mind, doing something repetitive with your hands may help silence your inner monologue. Think knitting or kneading bread—or even shelling nuts like pistachios or peanuts. The rhythmic moves will help you relax. Plus, the added step of cracking open a shell slows down your eating, making pistachios a diet-friendly snack. What's more, pistachios have heart-health benefits. "Eating pistachios may reduce acute stress by lowering blood pressure and heart rate," Mangieri says. "The nuts contain key phytonutrients that may provide antioxidant support for cardiovascular health."
Dark chocolate: Calling all chocoholics: a regular healthy indulgence (just a bite, not a whole bar!) of dark chocolate might have the power to regulate your stress levels. "Research has shown that it can reduce your stress hormones, including cortisol," Sass says. "Also, the antioxidants in cocoa trigger the walls of your blood vessels to relax, lowering blood pressure and improving circulation. And finally, dark chocolate contains unique natural substances that create a sense of euphoria similar to the feeling of being in love!" Go for varieties that contain at least 70% cocoa. Milk: Fortified milk is an excellent source of vitamin D, a nutrient that might boost happiness. A 50-year-long study by London's UCL Institute of Child Health found an association between reduced levels of vitamin D and an increased risk of panic and depression among 5,966 men and women. People who had sufficient vitamin D levels had a reduced risk of panic disorders compared to subjects with the lowest levels of vitamin D. Other foods high in vitamin D include salmon, egg yolks, and fortified cereal. Seeds: Flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds are all great sources of magnesium (as are leafy greens, yogurt, nuts, and fish). Loading up on the mineral may help regulate emotions. "Magnesium has been shown to help alleviate depression, fatigue, and irritability," Sass says. "Bonus: When you're feeling especially irritable during that time of the month, the mineral also helps to fight PMS symptoms, including cramps and water retention." Avocado: You can't just reach for slice after slice of avocado toast during crunch time if you don't want to gain weight, but this superfruit might help shut down stress-eating by filling your belly and making you feel more satisfied. In a 2014 study by Loma Linda University (which, full disclosure, was sponsored by the Hass Avocado Board), researchers had participants add half an avocado to their lunches, which reduced their desire to eat more by 40% for the three hours following the midday meal. That full feeling will make you less inclined to reach for unhealthy snacks when stress kicks in.
Cashews: One ounce of the buttery nut packs 11% of the daily recommended value of zinc, an essential mineral that may help reduce anxiety. When researchers gave zinc supplements to people who were diagnosed with both anxiety symptoms (irritability, lack of ability to concentrate) and deficient zinc levels over a course of eight weeks, the patients saw a 31% decrease in anxiety, according to Nutrition and Metabolic Insights. This is likely because zinc affects the levels of a nerve chemical that influences mood. If you're already getting enough zinc, then it may not help your mood to chow down on cashews (or other zinc-rich foods like oysters, beef, chicken, and yogurt). But, cashews are also rich in omega-3s and protein, so they're a smart snack no matter what. Take charge of your health. I have found a great healthy weight loss shake called Pure Complete. I lost 10 pounds, 4 inches,1 neck size; and taste great! Go to wwamm.biz and order today!

Why you stress-eat and how to stop it

Why you stress-eat and how to stop it. By Jessica Migala for Life by DailyBurn. (CNN)Sometimes it happens after you get an angry email from your boss. Or, maybe because you recently connected with a new love interest...and now he or she's gone MIA. Whatever the dilemma, cue your hand in the bag of Cheetos or a visit to the kitchen for, well...whatever's there. You know what it is: stress eating. "It's perfectly human to want to avoid pain and seek relief," says Minh-Hai Alex, a registered dietitian and founder of Mindful Nutrition in Seattle. "Stress eating usually happens when we want to disconnect from the moment. It's like changing the channel in our brain to try to change how we feel," she explains. Here's why food is such a salve for stress — and how to stop the cycle. This is why you turn to food when you're stressed: It's no surprise if you suddenly feel famished when deadlines or crises strike. "Stress activates your adrenal glands to release cortisol, increasing your appetite," says Melissa McCreery, PhD, ACC, psychologist and the emotional eating expert behind the site Too Much On Her Plate. Stress also impedes hunger hormones, like ghrelin, that regulate your appetite, research shows. If the anxiety is cutting into your sleep, a lack of zzz's ramps up your appetite even more. Unfortunately, that anxiety-induced hunger can have long-term consequences for your waistline. In fact, one new study found that women who reported they were stressed burned fewer calories and fat, and had a higher insulin response after eating a higher fat meal. Published in the journal Biological Psychiatry, the researchers concluded that these stress-induced changes led women to burn about 100 fewer calories per day — a difference that could cause you to pack on 11 pounds in a year. When you're under stress, you often feel out of control and overwhelmed — and that can leak into your eating habits, McCreery says. So it's no surprise that you go after junk food like a hungry lion, rather than keeping up your normally healthy habits. "You're worried about the past or the future — not what you're eating in the present," she adds. Stress depletes the cognitive resources you need to remain focused and resilient, and to practice creative problem solving, says McCreery. That's why getting elbow-deep in a pint of mint chip always feels easier than actually coming up with a plan for how to tackle that super tough work project. When junk food is calling your name: While it's too bad you don't crave celery sticks and carrots during crazed moments, that would go against biology. Fries, snack mixes, cookies and ice cream are go-tos because these high-carb, high-fat eats increase the brain's feel-good dopamine response, Alex explains. Then, next time you get into a bind, you'll hear the siren song of chocolate chips because your noggin has come to expect the rewarding hit of dopamine — and knows where to find it. (Ahem, cookies.) Not only that, but it's easy for stress snacking to become an ingrained habit. A 2015 study in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism discovered that one reason we eat high sugar foods is because sugar dampens stress-induced cortisol responses. Translation: You feel better on a sugar high. Over time, your brain may start to rely on these foods to simmer down. Problem is, anyone who's done it (and who hasn't?) knows what it feels like after you eat for emotional reasons — the guilt and frustration hit you like a hangover. Research from Penn State backs up what we've all suspected — that eating bad-for-you foods can make a grumpy mood even worse. How to stop stress eating: Ready to break free from stress eating and bring back happiness to your eats? Try some of these simple tricks next time anxiety strikes. 1. Focus on the real issue. We all know food is just a crutch when we're stressed. "Stress eating is not the primary problem, but a symptom of unmet needs," says Alex. Ask yourself 'How do I feel?' or 'What do I need?' to figure out what's really getting under your skin. 2. Think long-term. Take a minute to focus on the future (whether that means recalling your weight loss goals, or how awesome you want to look on vacation next month) before you give in to stress eating. It can help get you out of the moment so you make healthier food choices instead of succumbing to the lure of a tasty treat, suggests a 2014 study. 3. Get mindful. In a study in the Journal of Obesity, women who underwent mindfulness training — learning stress reduction techniques, how to recognize hunger, and pay attention to taste — were less apt to stress eat and lost more belly fat compared to a control group. Next time you're feeling taxed, try this exercise. You'll learn to identify your feelings, accept the unpleasant ones and focus on your breathing so you can fight the automatic urge to reach for a snack. 4. Be kind to yourself. "Self-compassion can decrease stress eating," says Alex. "When you're a kind, understanding friend to yourself, it's easier to resist the urge to try to disconnect through stress eating," she adds. If you do stress eat, promise that you won't beat yourself up and understand that it happens to everyone sometimes. That can help stop you from eating out of failure and help you make better choices later. 5. If all else fails... Go ahead and indulge. "Food is a lovely, comforting thing," says McCreery. So if you're going to do it anyway, she recommends really enjoying it. "Sit down, let yourself relax, and taste the ice cream." Of course, do so in moderation. Plan on savoring a small brownie rather than the whole batch. Take charge of your health. I have found a great healthy weight loss shake called Pure Complete. Hidden reasons for your overeating

Hidden reasons for your overeating. By Cynthia Sass, MPH, RD, Health.com Overeating is tricky. First, you may not even realize you're doing it. Second, you may not know why you're eating too much, because some triggers are downright counterintuitive. Here are four sneaky reasons you may be taking in too many surplus calories, and what you can do to stop it. Fitness food marketing: I think we all know that simply eating a food won't make us more fit, but a recent study published in the Journal of Marketing Research found that when foods are fitness-branded, some of us may unknowingly eat more and exercise less. In the Penn State study "restrained" eaters (people constantly concerned about their weight) were given identical snacks, one labeled "Trail Mix" and the other labeled "Fitness," which had a picture of running shoes on the packaging. The study volunteers were asked to pretend they were snacking at home, and were given eight minutes to taste and rate the product. In a second phase of the study, subjects had the opportunity to work out as vigorously as they wanted to on a stationary bike. Scientists found that unless the food was specifically forbidden by their diet, people who were trying to watch their weight ate more of the fitness snack than the trail mix. And these eaters also didn't work out as vigorously as those who ate the trail mix, apparently seeing the food as a substitute for exercise. Solution: In my experience, the best way to deflect the effects of food marketing is to raise your awareness. One analogy I often use with clients is getting out of debt. In that situation, you create a budget, and set a goal of carefully thinking through your purchases, rather than buying things impulsively, or based on emotion. Food can be approached the same way. Before reaching for something, check in with your body to determine if you're hungry. If you aren't, think about why you want to eat--are you bored, tired, frustrated, or rebelling against a too strict diet? Once you're aware of the trigger you can address it head on. And if you are hungry, consciously think through what will allow you to hit what I call the "just right" trifecta--full (but not too full), satisfied, and energized. If a food's packaging or marketing doesn't align with your instincts about what your body needs to feel just right, getting derailed by marketing will be easy to avoid. Frequent snacking: OK, this one may seem like a no-brainer, but many of my clients snack when they're not hungry, sometimes because they've heard that eating small frequent meals is best for weight loss, and by the end of the day they've just simply eaten too much. A new study published in the journal Eating Behaviors found that indeed, snacking in the absence of hunger can cause just as much weight gain as consuming high calorie foods or oversized portions. In the study, researchers offered volunteers a chocolate snack after they'd just eaten as much as they wanted of a similar snack food. Three quarters of the group accepted the second snack even though they should not have felt hungry. Scientists found that those who ate the most tended to be more impulsive, and were more responsive to food rewards. They also had higher BMIs, which suggests that repeated snacking in the absence of hunger is a weight gain culprit. Solution: I see this pattern often in my practice. When clients submit food journals I ask them to track their level of hunger or fullness both before and after meals and snacks, as well as their thoughts, feelings, mood, and insights. By beginning to pay attention to this, many find that they often eat when not hungry, perhaps because food was offered to them, or because they thought the snack was healthy (e.g. nuts are good for me!). Other common reasons include eating out of habit, because others are eating, or due to an emotional cue, like anxiety. If you find yourself falling into this trap, experiment with what it feels like to allow actual hunger to guide you. You'll quickly learn how to adjust your portions and meal timing so you are physically hungry every time you eat, a pattern that can result in enjoying your food more, while simultaneously slimming you down. Cancer doctor patients say 45 years in prison not enough.
By Robert Allen, Detroit Free Press 7:02 p.m. EDT July 10, 2015.
Dr. Farid Fata, 50, tells court before sentencing that he is ashamed and sorry for what he did to his patients.

He pumped poisonous chemotherapy drugs into patients for years, telling them they had cancer. They didn't.

He over-treated terminal cancer patients rather than letting them die peacefully. When he could profit from it, he also under-treated actual cancer patients.

And on Friday, nearly two years after his arrest, Dr. Farid Fata was sentenced to 45 years in federal prison for violating more than 550 patients' trust and raking in more than $17 million from fraudulent billings.

For many people tortured by Oakland County oncologist's treatments, it was a weak punishment.

"He killed my husband," said Patricia Loewen of Prudenville, whose husband, Kenneth Paul Loewen, died in September at age 62. She said the former cancer doctor, now age 50, deserves to never be freed.

Loewen was one of hundreds of victims over-treated, misdiagnosed or under-treated so Fata could fraudulently rake in more than $17 million. Federal prosecutors call it the most egregious case of fraud case they've ever seen.

"This is a huge, horrific series of criminal acts that were committed by the defendant," U.S. District Judge Paul Borman said before sentencing Fata, saying the once-prominent oncologist "practiced greed and shut down whatever compassion he had."

Borman, who sentenced Fata to 45 years total on multiple counts of health care fraud, money laundering and conspiracy to pay and receive kickbacks, said the crimes called for "a very significant sentence for very, very terrible conduct."

U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade's prosecutors asked for 175 years, the maximum. She said afterward that the result was "close to a life sentence," and that she didn't expect the case to be so egregious when they'd started on it.

"Chemotherapy, as you know, is poison," McQuade said. "Dr. Fata gave poison to people who didn't even have cancer ... to make money."

Loewen said 45 years is a poor deterrent to other bad doctors. Parole isn't possible in the federal case, but Fata could be released while he's still alive because of good behavior while in prison.

A McQuade spokeswoman said she didn't know how much credit Fata could get for behaving himself, and a spokesman with the Federal Department of Prisons didn't immediately return a call for comment.

Not all victims were upset with Borman's sentence.

Sydney Zaremba's 87-year-old mother died less than four months after Fata started chemotherapy for a stage 1 (early stage) tumor in her neck. She said it was confirmed her mother was over-treated with support drugs, and that she didn't deserve to die the way she did.

"Of course, everybody would want to see life," Zaremba said of Fata's sentence. "No matter what happens, nobody wins in this situation. There will never be justice."

She said she believes Borman gave Fata 45 years knowing that if the sentence is appealed, "whoever takes that on will look at it and say, 'That's pretty reasonable.'"

Loewen's husband had esophageal cancer, and she said Fata started chemotherapy before he had a chance to heal from surgery. And her husband was put on Neulasta, a drug so strong it knocked him "to the ground and on the couch for days," she said.

"It only made my husband sicker," she said. "And to find out the Neulasta shots were unnecessary, I'm just devastated."

Loewen said her husband was scheduled for eight radiation treatments one day after Fata was arrested; when they went to different doctors, they learned he didn't even need radiation.

Fata, who openly wept in court Friday as he apologized for his actions, admitted to fraudulently billing Medicare, insurance companies and at least 550 patients through misdiagnoses, overtreatment and undertreatment. In some cases, he gave nearly four times the recommended dosage amount of aggressive cancer drugs; in at least one, a patient was given toxic chemotherapy for five years when the standard treatment was six months, according to former patients and experts who testified in court this week.

"I misused my talents ... because of power and greed. My quest for power is self-destructive," Fata told the court before sentencing. He said he is "horribly ashamed of my conduct" and prays for repentance.

Zaremba said she believes Fata was sincere.

"I actually cried," she said, adding that the educated, Christian man with such training to help people must feel intense remorse. "I had felt pity the first time I saw him come in in shackles."

Defense attorney Christopher Andreoff asked Borman to sentence Fata to no more than 25 years in prison, saying even that could be a life sentence because of Fata's health.

"Our recommendation will give him nothing more than a chance for release before he dies," Andreoff said.

U.S. Assistant Prosecutor Catherine Dick told the court her office has "never seen anything like this before. ... And that is because of the harm."

"Fata was greedy, and he wanted that money," Dick said. "What this defendant did is unquantifiable. There is no way to quantify the suffering."

Dr. Farid Fata pleaded guilty in September to 13 counts.
Dr. Farid Fata pleaded guilty in September to 13 counts of health care fraud, two counts of money laundering and one count of conspiring to pay and receive kickbacks.
Dick said patients died in horrible pain from Fata's treatments.

Borman had set the sentencing guidelines to 30 years to life on Thursday based on the charges and circumstances.

"My role ... is to impose a sentence sufficient but not greater than necessary," Borman said Friday morning.

The federal court this week heard accounts of about 22 victims, who shared unthinkable experiences of a healthy adult undergoing chemotherapy and losing nearly all his teeth, of a patient diagnosed with lung cancer when he had kidney cancer, and more. Some statements were read by family members of patients who died.

Some patients with no documented iron deficiencies were given overwhelming amounts of iron, while others were given lower-than-needed doses of chemotherapy drugs, experts testified.

McQuade called his case the "the most egregious" health care fraud case her office has seen. On Friday after sentencing, she applauded the whistleblower office manager who tipped off investigators. She also thanked the victims for their help in prosecuting and applauded the cooperation among the FBI, IRS and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in bringing Fata to justice.

Fata, arrested in August 2013, pleaded guilty last September to 13 counts of health care fraud, two counts of money laundering and one count of conspiring to pay and receive kickbacks. The case involves $34.7 million in billings to patients and insurance companies, and $17.6 million paid for work Fata admitted was unnecessary. He remains incarcerated, and his medical license has been revoked.

The former doctor has agreed to forfeit $17.6 million and a number of assets in the case. The sentencing hearing began Monday and has also included testimony from experts on behalf of prosecutors, as well as statements from victims who support Fata.

Gregory Cadd of White Lake said Fata should've gotten double the sentence, and he doesn't care about getting any money.

"I don't want anything back from him," he said. "If anyone shoves a check in my hand, I'm going to find the nearest charity that I can to give it to in the name of my father."

Cadd said his father's good insurance policy and lung cancer is what led to the over-treatment by Fata, who "just kept it up, kept it up until finally my father passed away because of that monster," Cadd said, becoming tearful. "That's all he ever was is a monster out to live off people's pain and suffering, and wanted to live the good life."

Fata, a married father of three and a naturalized U.S. citizen whose native country is Lebanon, was charged with running the scheme that involved billing the government for medically unnecessary cancer and blood treatments. His family has moved out of the country, and his attorney said he is lonely.

The government said Fata ran the scheme from 2009 to 2014 through his medical businesses, including Michigan Hematology Oncology Centers, with offices in Clarkston, Bloomfield Hills, Lapeer, Sterling Heights, Troy and Oak Park.

The once highly-respected doctor clutched an handkerchief while addressing the court Friday, his voice becoming high-pitched with emotions at times.

"I have violated the medical oath, and I have caused anguish, hardship and pain to my patients and their families," he said. "They came to me seeking compassion and care. I failed them."

He didn't visibly react when the sentence was read or when he was handcuffed and escorted from the courtroom.

Improved Cardiovascular Health; Improved Immune System; Improved Blood Pressure; Improved Cholesterol; Improved Blood Sugar Levels; Improved Weight Control; Improved Anti-aging Properties; Improved Energy Levels; Improved Memory; Improved Sleep; Improved Sexual Function; Improved Well Being; Improved Athletic Performance; Cardio Boost is the result of years of research bringing the right combination of ingredients together in order to completely address the needs of the cardiovascular system. The Ultimate Health Promoting Catalyst from Nature: AstraGin is the first and only natural food ingredient that has been shown in cell, animal, and human studies to significantly improve the absorption of many essential life supporting and health promoting nutrients, such as amino acids, glucose, and vitamins into human cells by allowing a greater amount of these nutrients to pass from the blood stream into the cells. AstraGin is a proprietary all natural plant based formulation derived from highly purified Panax Notoginseng and Astragalus Membrenaceus using a pharmaceutical grade extraction and processing technology. AstraGin increases chemicals in the human body called "Transporter" and "mRNA" These chemicals determine how much or less specific nutrients are absorbed into the intestinal cells and thus are available to support our health and provide essential benefits. These benefits include improvement in overall health, fitness, energy, endurance, sense of wellbeing, blood sugar balance and lean body mass. Advantages of Astragin: Increase aminio acid absorption by 62%; Increase vitamin absorption by 50%; Increase glucose absorption by 57%; Increase ATP production by 18%; Decrease blood sugar level by 19%; Increase insulin sensitivity by 38%; Increase glycogen in muscle (24 hours after strenuous exercise) by 60%; No GMO's; Soy Free; Gluten Free; Sugar Free; Great tasting; Vegan friendly;and Safe for Diabetics; Today there are over 100,000 medically published clinical studies attesting to the fact that arginine will help lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and triglycerides, improve diabetes, improve sexual function, reduce blood clots and strokes, improve congestive heart failure, improve wound healing, improve liver and kidney function, improve memory and cognitive functions, increase human growth hormone (HGH), and much more. Research suggests that consuming liquid nutritional products provides significantly improved absorption (80% vs 20% from tablets). Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States for men and women. For example, inflammation in your blood vessels...Activates clotting in your blood that uses cholesterol like brick and mortar, which in turn, creates blood clots that act like rebar framework (reinforcing metal rods). Did you know that if you're over age 55 you have: · A 1-in-4 chance of being struck down by a heart disaster. · A 1-in-6 chance of being felled by a brain catastrophe. · And a 1-in-2 chance of suffering from poor circulation. If you think I'm exaggerating, just consider that during the next 12 months in America alone… · 925,000 folks will die of heart-related calamities—that's nearly 2,500 a day! · 167,000 people will meet their maker due to blood clots in the brain! (FACT: 80% of all strokes are caused by blood clots.) · More than 200,000 people will die due to blood clots in the legs! Get ready for your own health miracle! Once you start dissolving and blasting away dangerous blood clots, your circulation will dramatically improve. Why is this important? Because healthy circulation can do miracles for your health—but that only occurs when your blood flows smoothly and easily. And that's where Cardio Boost helps you come through like a Gold Medal winner. It starts by: · Safely dissolving dangerous blood clots in your arteries; · Sweeping harmful toxins out of your circulatory system; · Thinning your blood; · Giving your whole circulation system a healthy boost. When I say whole circulation system, I mean it. In fact, did you know your body's circulation system is made up of roughly 75,000 miles of arteries, blood vessels and capillaries—filled with six liters of blood? Now picture thin, healthy, toxin-free blood coursing through all of your arteries, blood vessels and capillaries. Picture health-boosting nutrients, life-giving oxygen and immune-boosting cells flowing through your entire circulatory system—going directly to your organs, limbs and tissues. Arginine is also a powerful immune stimulant and wound-healing agent. At one time, this was thought to be exclusively due to its growth hormone releasing properties; but arginine is a powerful immune stimulant and wound healing agent even in the absence of significant growth hormone release. It is now known that arginine has other important benefits as a precursor of nitric oxide. Erectile Dysfunction: L-arginine has been used for erectile dysfunction. Like the drug sildenafil citrate (Viagra), L-arginine is thought to enhance the action of nitric oxide, which relaxes muscles surrounding blood vessels supplying the penis. As a result, blood vessels in the penis dilate, increasing blood flow, which helps maintain an erection. The difference in how they work is that Viagra blocks an enzyme called PDE5 which destroys nitric oxide and L-arginine is used to make nitric oxide. In one study, 50 men with erectile dysfunction took either 5 grams of L-arginine per day or a placebo. After six weeks, more men in the L-arginine group had an improvement compared to those taking the placebo. Unlike Viagra, L-arginine must be taken daily.
